AMC Theaters CEO is considering adding Shiba Inu as a payment to buy tickets!

If the will of fans and visitors to the AMC cinema network wins, the opportunity to buy tickets to cinemas belonging to AMC using the cryptocurrency Shiba Inu may soon become a reality.

AMC Entertainment is constantly working and updating its technical infrastructure. That is why it has progressively managed to allow its clients to pay for tickets online using Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE). But that’s not all!
In a post on the social network Twitter Adam Aron, CEO of AMC, asked if users would be interested in payment using Shiba Inu cryptocurrency. More than 100,000 users took part in the virtual vote in a few hours. The result will probably not surprise anyone. Approximately 80% of participants chose the “Yes” option.

The world-famous network of AMC cinemas has been of intense interest recently the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies. Last week, the CEO announced the idea of the possibility of acceptance SHIB. Depending on how people on Twitter react to this idea, it’s likely to really happen.

In early October, AMC allowed its customers to purchase digital gift cards using Dogecoin and other cryptocurrencies via BitPay wallet. On Friday, one memecoin (SHIB) overtook the other (DOGE) and thus reached the TOP 10 largest according to the market capitalization of cryptocurrencies.
In addition to the recent hype surrounding the Shiba Inu memecoin, the Shiba Inu ecosystem has expanded by ShibaSwap – decentralized exchange or so-called DEX. Total turnover on ShibaSwap is around $ 540 million. Currently, there are 29 tokens listed on ShibaSwap, the value of which exceeds $ 230 million.
