Analyst points out 2 cryptocurrencies to buy in December

Cryptocurrency analyst Aaron Arnold is excited about two altcoins that he says have enormous potential. For him, these cryptoassets can present a recovery of their value much higher than BTC.

Chainlink

The first altcoin with huge potential, according to Arnold, is Chainlink (LINK), a cryptocurrency project that facilitates the transfer of data to smart contracts from sources outside the chain.

According to Arnold, Chainlink Labs achieved a “big win” after former Google CEO Eric Schmidt joined the project as a strategic advisor.

“[Eric Schmidt] joined solutions provider oracle Chainlink Labs as a strategic consultant. He will guide the company’s scalability strategy in its use of oracle networks to drive smart contracts. This is a great achievement, a highly connected guy,” he said.

Tezos

Then, the analyst said that the other altcoin with huge potential is Tezos (XTZ). It is a smart contracts platform used by BTG Pactual bank to issue its token, the ReitzBZ.

Additionally, Tezos has just been selected by video game giant Ubisoft as the blockchain platform for the release of their new in-game non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Ubisoft is the publisher of games such as Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Far Cry, Just Dance and Prince of Persia.

The company claims it is planning to build a “true metaverse”. To do this, it chose Tezos to overcome “the initial limitations of the blockchain for games, including scalability and power consumption”.

“Gaming giant Ubisoft becomes the first major game company to release NFTs in-game. This is a huge milestone for cryptocurrencies, for NFTs and games in general,” he said.

In this regard, Arnold highlighted that gaming giant will implement NFTs in one of its main franchises. Consequently, this will positively impact the XTZ price.
