Bitmain is the world’s largest manufacturer of cryptocurrency hardware. The newest piece is the Antminer S19, which can easily cope with the approaching halving. However, it has a catch. Bitmain is not able to produce in time and deliveries are delayed.
Cryptocurrency mining hardware can only reach customers after halving. And that would mean great losses that not everyone has to bear.
It is also controversial how the company announced its delay. He plans to deliver the components only one day after halving. So many commentators rightly ask if the giant wants to “try” them before they are sent, as long as it can still bring a lot of money.
Shipping May 11thish. Gee I wonder why you picked that date lol. I thought you guys said you didn't use them yourself first before shipping them? Or is it just to make sure the ones you do have for you get the most out before you ship these. lolhttps://t.co/GNmLiGPHEu pic.twitter.com/0Jvd2H4g1D

Another controversy is that the hardware manufacturer immediately began developing another prototype, nicknamed the Antminer S21. The problem is that the very expensive S19 devices will soon become obsolete. Bitmain is thus likely to maximize its profit at the expense of the miners. However, this is a free market.
