BTC: biggest conference ever underway in Miami

The BTC 2021 Convention, the largest ever cryptocurrency conference, is underway in Miami.
About 50,000 attendees are expected.
It will last two days, today and tomorrow, and includes speakers such as Ron Paul, Jack Dorsey, Michael Saylor, Anthony Pompliano, Tim Draper, Mike Novogratz, Brock Pierce, Saifedean Ammous, Chris Giancarlo, Floyd Mayweather Jr, including the participation of Paris Hilton.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez stated:
“We could not be happier. Happier that organizers of the BTC 2021 Conference have chosen the city of Miami.”
Suarez is, in fact, a supporter of the cryptocurrency industry, so much so that during the virtual conference presentation, he stood up showing the camera a t-shirt that read:
“How can I help?”

Miami really wants to become a sort of American capital of the cryptocurrency world, an innovative hub capable of attracting venture capital and innovation.
According to Brock Pierce, many of the brightest minds in Silicon Valley and New York have now moved their businesses and companies to Miami. Brock Pierce is the president of the BTC Foundation, and he stated:
“Mayor Suarez has done an incredible job of saying ‘come here, Miami is the place.’ As a result of it, this has become the most important city in the United States.”
The fact is that in Miami, the quality of life is excellent, and taxes are low, so it could be the ideal situation to create a big cryptocurrency hub in the U.S.
By the way, Tron founder Justin Sun managed to get the “Golden Whale Pass” NFT by spending 12.6 BTC (about $460,000) during the auction held in conjunction with the conference launch. This NFT will grant him free access to all future editions of the conference.

In addition, the #BitcoinConference hashtag on Twitter already has thousands of tweets from people who have already arrived in Miami to attend the conference, including many photos featuring ETH co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
After a pandemic and a lockdown that stopped practically the whole world for more than a year, this conference seems to mark a sort of rebirth, not only of the cryptocurrency sector, since they exist and work primarily online. In other words, the crypto sector responded in a big way to this desire to start again, as if to show for the umpteenth time that it is ahead, way ahead.
