BTC Payments on Microsoft Xbox Online Store Are Becoming More Possible Than Ever

The possibility of BTC becoming a viable mode of payment on Microsoft Xbox is more likely now.

A weekend Reddit post on the r/XboxSeriesX subreddit mentioned a survey by Microsoft asking for the Xbox users’ preferred mode of payment when purchasing from its online store. The screenshot photo of the survey in question has been spreaded to other subreddits like r/Ethtrader and r/BTC too.

BTC is among the list of options that survey participants can pick when asked about their preferred payment method.

One of the Xbox users mentioned that only participants of the “Xbox Insider program for beta testing OS updates” can access the survey.

US-based Microsoft users already have the ability to purchase Windows content (including games) with BTC since 2014. However, the option to pay in crypto is still unavailable for the Xbox online store.
