Elon Musk: ‘You can now buy a Tesla with BTC’

Elon Musk announced today, on Twitter, that Tesla has begun accepting payment for its range of cars in BTC. A BTC payment button has appeared on the site.

Musk also said that the company is using only internal and open source software and operates BTC nodes directly.

BTC paid to Tesla will be retained as BTC, not converted to fiat currency.

He said that BTC paid to Tesla will be retained in its original form and not converted to fiat currency.

He added that Tesla customers will be able to pay by BTC outside US later this year.
