EXCLUSIVE: A Closer Look at BeInCrypto’s New YouTube Star Jessica Walker

Jessica Walker is a renowned and respected content creator and video strategist in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
Jessica’s experience in fintech is second to none. As an accomplished broadcaster, conference moderator, interviewer, marketeer, innovator, and partnership builder, her network extends right across the globe.
In 2015, Jessica began her journalism career at Dukasopy Bank, relocating from the UK to Latvia and Geneva, Switzerland. There, she spent her time designing and presenting daily broadcasts on broad financial news, covering the daily news headlines, forex currency pairs, stocks, indices, and economic calendars.
Later, while working for a Swiss Bank, Jessica crossed paths with financial industry veterans who were turning their attention to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin, across Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
From there, Jessica completely shifted her focus to digital currencies and their potential, and began attending some of the early European blockchain conferences.
In 2018, Jessica worked for crypto-focused news outlet NewsBTC as the Head of TV, creating a daily show directing people to content they should place in their “Cryptocurrency Calendar.” She was then headhunted by bloxlive.tv to move to Malta, the “Blockchain Island,” to launch a live TV news channel.
At Bloxlive TV, Jessica rolled out a daily live-streamed news network, setting up the production team and resources to deliver it. She was also responsible for building relations and representing Bloxlive.tv at major conferences to increase awareness, and build a solid network and guest database of local and global speakers and key industry figures.
Jessica has also delivered top class media coverage from leading tech and finance conferences such as the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Monaco Blockchain Conference, and Belarus Crypto Conference, among others.
With events being such a crucial element of networking in this industry, Jessica then moved to the SiGMA Group, which hosts three of the largest events in Europe, including the AIBC Summit, Europe’s largest virtual event for emerging tech.
There, she was appointed Head of Media and worked directly alongside key speakers at conferences on curating a thought-provoking agenda as the conference launched into new regions.
Jessica’s professional background includes managing three YouTube, three Facebook, four Twitter, and two Soundcloud accounts, recording 9 million organic impressions since joining Sigma. She has interviewed the Vice President of Nasdaq, President of Malta, Prime Minister of Antigua, a former VP of Nike, the co-founder of PayPal, Usain Bolt, and Akon.
