Facebook’s Diem Has a New Language of Money called Move

Facebook has recently launched a new programming language specially designed for digital assets and blockchain implementation. It claims that Move is an improvement over other programming languages.

According to its blog, Move is a programming language which possesses the following three attributes:

1. Deterministic
2. Hermetic
3. Metered

Diem has come a long way, after the U.S. Senate Committee grilled its head David Marcus in 2019. Diem is expected to launch in 2021. Perhaps, WhatsApp maybe the vehicle to push Diem to mass adoption overnight.
