Gemini: the Nifty Gateway launches the Yachty Coin from rapper Lil Yachty

In a press release issued by Nifty Gateway, which belongs to the Gemini exchange, there is news of a new auction that will start today and that will raffle off the Yachty Coin of the homonymous rapper.
Nifty Gateway is a platform where not only is it possible to create NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) but also to buy and sell them. Many of these tokens have sold like hotcakes at unbelievable prices.
Gemini bought the Nifty company last year and this year launched the marketplace, an interesting platform because it allows to collect the proceeds of the sale directly into one’s own current account and thus easily monetize one’s works.
During today’s event, a 24-hour auction will be held, which will see an artistic piece produced by rapper Lil Yachty named Yachty Coin.
The artist already collaborates with another crypto project called Fyooz, a social platform with its own token that connects artists with their fans.
The CEO of Fyooz, Remo Prinz, explained:

Yachty Coin and other famous NFTs
The well-known Gemini exchange could therefore attract more artists in the future and thus entice their fans to discover the world of blockchain and crypto. This Yachty Coin is therefore a first opportunity to attract more artists from all over the world and show all the advantages of NFTs.
However, it has to be said that this is not the first time that an international artist has chosen to use NFTs. Last August, in fact, the famous actor Ashton Kutcher auctioned one of his artworks as an NFT on the Cryptograph website.
The same goes for the famous YouTuber PewDiePie, whose NFT was sold for 60 ETH.
