2 min readDid you know that by searching for certain keywords and phrases in Google you can make it do tricks? Here are fun hacks that you can try on Google right away.
Some involve the I’m Feeling Lucky button, which we’ve hardly ever pressed before. It is a google extension. You can add here.
Go Google!
1. Barrel Roll
Type ‘Do a barrel roll‘ and hit enter or click search, and watch it roll!
2. Google Askew Trick
Type ‘askew‘ and hit enter or click search.
3. Google Gravity
Type in ‘Google gravity‘ then click I’m Feeling Lucky. Watch it drop!
4. Google Pacman
Type ‘Google Pacman‘ and hit I’m Feeling Lucky. Then click Insert Coin and you’re playing Pacman! Eat all of the circles and avoid the ghosts.
5. Thanos Glove
If you ever wanted to know what Google would look like after the fingers of the Infinity Gauntlet snapped, just type Thanos into Google and click on the glove to see a Marvel-lous transformation.
6. Talk like a pirate with Google Language
Argh, me hearties! Fancy sailing across the 7 seas of Google? If so, all you have to do is change the language in Google Accounts to Pirate and you’ll be ready to set sail in no time. Just make sure you don’t end up walking the plank!
7. Snake game
Type ‘Google Snake Game‘, hit enter, then click the top result. Press play then use the arrows to move the snake.
8. Google Earth Flight Simulator
You need to have Google Earth installed, which is free and easy. Once you’re in there, open Tools then click Enter Flight Simulator. Pick a location then start flying!
