Ronin is the new blockchain launched by Sky Mavis, producer of Axie Infinity, the blockchain offers free transactions from the start, racking up 4 million downloads worldwide.

Recently, along with blockchain, the company launched RON, the token of the Ronin Blockchain Network. THE$RON holders will be able to stake their $RON tokens with validators to earn rewards and participate in the governance of the network.

The fee structure and use of RON’s treasury are governance topics. That way, your future will be decided by the users. The maximum supply of RON is 1,000,000,000 and will be reached 294 months after the start of issuance.

To buy RON, users must go to Ronin’s official decentralized exchange Katana and Gate.io. Currently, the only tokens available for swap are WETH, AXS, SLP and USDC and USDT on Gate exchange.

The main change for Axie Infinity users will be the GAS fees, which will be paid in $RON. Thus, users will no longer receive 100 free daily transactions.

However, Sky Mavis has confirmed GAS reductions for Axie NFT holders and a unique perk for those entering Ronin for the first time.

New users will receive 20 free transactions with no fees. This is a one-time allocation and once the user completes the free transactions, they will start paying fees in RON;
Holders of Axies or Axie Infinity Lands will receive a set amount of free transactions every day. Daily limits reset every 24 hours and will not accumulate overnight. For example, if a user doesn’t spend 3 free transactions in one day, he won’t be able to use them in another day;
