Alex Mashinsky, CEO of the cryptocurrency company Celsius Network, said in a recent interview that BTC will reach USD 160,000 per coin this year. According to him, the new price highs will occur this year.

Optimistic outlook for BTC

Celsius’ co-founder of the cryptocurrency lending platform, Alex Mashinsky, told Cointelegraph that the bitcoins will reach $ 160,000 this year or be very close to the border.

Mashinsky further noted that the cryptocurrency market was tied to a correction when the price of BTC was around $ 60,000 a few months ago. At the BTC 2021 conference in Miami, Alex Mashinsky said:

“If you go too high and too fast, you’re ready to correct. I predicted a correction of $ 30,000. BTC is like a spring, we stretch it too much. Too many people were greedy. We have not yet seen the price highs for 2021. “

Among other things, Mashinsky commented on Elon Musek’s contributions about BTC. According to Mashinsky, the CEO of Tesla does not help the cryptocurrency community at all, but rather manipulates the market. He said that Musk is a mere tourist in the crypto country.

“If the richest man in the world is willing to exchange BTC for Tesla, you have to ask yourself, who makes money on this trade? The moment you buy this Tesla, the car has a lower value, but BTC will continue to grow in value. This transaction is good for Elon, but not good for you. “

Conclusion

Mashinsky’s prediction of the world’s most important cryptocurrency is very optimistic. What do you think about this prediction? Will BTC reach $ 160,000 this year? You can see the whole interview under the attached link HERE.
