- In terms of energy efficiency, the new devices can certainly compete with the flagships of the competition. the WhatsMiner M50S It therefore achieves 126 terahashes per second (TH/s) with an energy efficiency of 26 joules per terahash (J/T). The M50 does 114 TH/s at 29 J/T.
- For the M53, there are no more detailed specifications in terms of efficiency. But it should be a water-cooled ASIC. Thanks to the special cooling, the rig is said to achieve an impressive 226 TH/s and is therefore in direct competition with the almost 20,000 USD expensive Antminer S19 XP Hyd., which brings 255 TH/s onto the road.
