It appears that Ferrari, the Italian luxury sports car maker, will launch NFTs for its fans.
The company signed an agreement with blockchain company Velas Network to create “digital products” for the brand.
While it did not explicitly mention the release of NFTs, it is likely that this is the “digital product” to be released. That’s because Velas Network is a global player in the blockchain and NFT sector.
According to a press release published on Monday (27), the agreement will last for several years:
“The multi-year agreement provides for the creation of exclusive digital content for Scuderia Ferrari fans. In addition, Velas will be the main sponsor of the Ferrari Esports Series, the Prancing Horse online single-brand series, and the Esports team that will compete in the F1 Esports Series, the official digital championship played by all teams participating in the Formula 1 World Championship of the FIA.”
