Second GODS token airdrop is delayed by one week

2 min read

Immutable, developer of play-to-earn Gods Unchained, has announced that it will postpone the second part of the GODS token airdrop by a week. The decision was made due to an effort to improve the game’s internal systems. The delay in updates caused the distribution of tokens to be affected.

The airdrop refers to the remaining 50% of rewards previously received. Payment would be retrospective. GODS is the reward, utility and governance token for the Gods Unchained collectible card game.

The recent retrospective airdrop was given to active players who moved their ETH assets to Immutable X in a timely manner. The second part of this airdrop will take place next week.

It’s important to remember that newer Gods Unchained players will not be airdropped. However, any player is eligible to receive the rewards of the weekly challenges.

One of the most important events in the game is the Blessing of the Gods. Participating players who manage to meet the objectives receive GODS token as a reward in their wallet. The event’s main prize is 4 million GODS tokens. In addition, every week the game pool receives between 100,000 and 500,000 GODS tokens for distribution.

The final amount distributed, however, depends on the number of active players in the event.

What is Gods Unchained?

Gods Unchained is a collectible card game built on the blockchain ETH, which uses the Immutable X layer-2 solution. The blockchain stores all ownership of the cards, giving players full ownership of their own set of cards.

Players earn digital cards when playing. Identical cards can be traded or sold via stake in the blockchain itself. All cards are NFTs that can be sold and bought at any time.
