Solchicks is the new play-to-earn game darling of investors and could surpass Axie Infinity

After the success of play-to-earn and metaverse games like Axie Infinity and Decentraland, a new game has been catching the market’s attention and has become the new hype among players in the cryptocurrency universe.
It is Solchicks, built on the Solana (SOL) blockchain. This is a new game that promises to upset Axie’s supremacy among cryptoactive investors.
The first and second sales of the game’s NFTs were successful and the non-fungible tokens sold out.
Avatars, just like in Axie, can be played and if a player has two, they can generate a Solegg. However, there is a limit to the number of times a Solchick can breed.
The game is based on SolChicks, a breed of battle chickens. In the game, SolFox, an intergalactic threat, attacks the Solchick’s home planet, Chicco, in 2021.
Despite best efforts, the SolChicks were not able to defeat this threat, losing many members. Then the survivors fled to the stars in search of a new home.
Now the avatar chickens try to defeat their enemies to return to their home.
Game made Solana fall
The chicken game has attracted so much attention that when Solchicks released its CHICKS token, user demand for the token caused Solana’s network to crash.
Currently, the game has a demo version available. However, the version does not have the features that the game intends to release in 2022.
As mentioned, the demo is set in Chicco, it takes place before the fall of the world. So before the official story of the chicken battle game starts.
The project team has an extensive list of partners. This includes approximately forty launch pads and major market players such as Brave and Chainlink, as well as rapper, actor and filmmaker Ice Cube.
