Spotify Wrapped 2020: How to see your stats on most played songs and artists this year

3 min read

Spotify has launched its annual Wrapped feature for 2020 – though if you’ve been on any form of social media today you will already know that.

The service tells you your most played songs and artists of the year, and also compares your listening habits with others’.

You can then share the results on social media – depending on how embarrassing they are, of course.

Spotify has labelled this year’s edition as “highlights from a year to remember (or, you know, forget)”.

How can I find my Spotify Wrapped?

If you open your Spotify app, you should see a prompt to “see how you listened in 2020” front and centre of your screen.

You will then be guided through your listening habits in an Instagram stories-like slideshow.

Alternatively, you can access it on desktop by heading to 2020.byspotify.com.

What will it tell me?

As well as your top five songs and artists, Spotify will also tell you which genres you listened to the most, how many new artists you discovered and how long you listened for in 2020.

It will tell you if there are any songs you discovered long before anyone else, and also make you do a mini quiz to see if you can guess your own listening habits.

Spotify signs off by saying: “Thanks for spending all 67 months of 2020 with us.”

What does the data say for the rest of the UK?

According to the Spotify Wrapped highlights data, Drake was the UK’s most streamed artist in 2020, while Bad Bunny pipped the Canadian rapper to the global top spot.
