Swiss-born Liechtenstein singer Al Walser will be auctioning off his NFT album “Al Walser Comes 2 Life” on NFT marketplace Rarible and OpenSea on March 17, 2021 at 12 EST noon for a week.

Collectors should take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a rare and original NFT from one of the music industry’s most unique artists.

“This album means a lot to me, it’s a direct result of what happened after that pivotal cultural moment years ago. It’s no surprise it has a very raw and modern Rock’N’Roll edge all throughout,” said Walser.

An unreleased track will be included in the album too.

The highest bidder of the auction will also be bringing home the flag that Walser, dressed in a space suit, carried during his appearance at the Grammys.

Masha Vyazemsky, Head of Communications of Rarible said:

“We’re excited to be exploring the use cases for NFTs in music, and to support fantastic artists such as Al Walser among the pioneers in the space.”

The narrative behind the NFT and its rarity are the factors that influence its price, much like Walser himself. Hailing from a microstate Liechtenstein, he certainly is a rare gem of an artist. Well-known figures like the former USA president Barack Obama and music producer Diplo have surely known that as a fact, the latter having posted an Instagram photo of him and Walser together with “With the legend al walser” as caption.

Back in 2012, Walser was awarded a Grammy for his song “I Can’t Live Without You”. This has caused a stir within the music industry due to him being an artist that seemed to have come out of nowhere compared to his fellow nominees, making him the Grammy’s biggest underdog. In spite of the controversy, there are people like Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris showing support for the Grammy newcomer.

That was not the last of Walser’s success. The latest Grammy award for his production work in 2020 has proven that he is still going strong to this day.
