According to Block Research, the total trading volume of futures on BTC and ETH in 2021 exceeded 32 trillion dollars.
Trading volume of BTC and ETH futures was a record this year
This figure, taken as of December 27, is 338% higher than the trading volume recorded in 2020, $ 7 trillion.
May 2021 saw the highest trading volume of BTC and ETH futures ($ 4 trillion). Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has become a leader among trading platforms.
The year 2021 also saw a record volume of spot trade, which exceeded $ 14 trillion a year on centralized cruising exchanges and $ 1 trillion on decentralized platforms.
