Uber May Start Accepting Bitcoin for Rides, Says CEO

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said that the ridesharing giant may start allowing its users to pay for journeys using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

He told CNBC today that the company is looking into whether it would be beneficial to the company to make this happen.

The CEO said that Uber will not be following in Tesla’s footsteps by putting Bitcoin on its balance sheet. “We are going to keep our cash safe,” he said.
