McDonald’s plans to open virtual restaurant in meatverse

Based on recent trademark applications, fast food giant McDonald’s is planning to create a metaverse.

According to one of the trademark applications, McDonald’s also plans to hold various entertainment events, including concerts, in the meta-version.

McDonald’s often trolls the crypto-community and calls them to work after each BTC drop.

Millions of users are now involved in virtual reality in one form or another, so the topic of metaversie is unlikely to reduce popularity.

Connecticut-based analytics firm Gartner predicts mass user acceptance of Metaverse over the next few years. Experts estimate that by 2026, 25% of people will spend at least one hour a day in the metaverse.

Resellers are already offering users a way to create their lives in the digital world,” said Marta Resnick, vice president of research at Gartner and added that activities such as visiting virtual classrooms or buying digital land use now take place on separate platforms. However, they soon move to a single environment – the metaverse.

The most interesting feature of these new worlds will be the currency with which they will operate. The economy of this immersive reality will be driven by digital currencies and an nonfungible tokens (NFT).

The expert added that the metaverses will force the companies to expand its business model in an unprecedented way and move from digital space to metaverse. They will no longer have to build their own infrastructure, because the metaverse will offer its foundation.
