As BTC’s value increased, so did the global hashrate from week to week. On Sunday, the BTC network hashrate was just over 155 exahash (EH/s), and the price of BTC made a large number of ASICs more profitable. Older generation miners also benefit, such as the Bitmain Antminer S9 series with a speed of around 11 TH/s.
BTC hashrate is rising, older ASICs are becoming profitable
Six days ago, BTC’s total hashate was around 130 exahashes per second (EH/s) and today it is 19.23% more, 155 EH/s. BTC is thriving and has grown by 15.9% in the last seven days. At the time of writing, it costs more than $ 55,000 and the worldwide trading volume is $ 35.2 billion.
Thanks to the higher price for BTC they are ASICs more profitable than a few weeks ago in September. With today’s BTC difficulty and electricity costs, the Microbt Whatsminer M30S ++ will make around $ 30 a day. M30S ++ boasts 112 terahash per second (TH / s).
Bitmain Antminer S19 Pro (110 TH / s) also earns more than $ 34 per day. The Canaan Avalonminer 1246 boasts around 90 TH/s and estimates show that at today’s price, BTC can earn $ 25.88 a day. The Strong Hornbill H8 Pro shows that it produces 84 TH / s and gains $ 23.67 per day.
Older BTC mining machines with 11 TH / S and can earn $ 0.39 a day
Older units, such as the Ebang Ebit E11 ++ (44 TH / s) and the Innosilicon T3 (43 TH / s), make profits ranging from $ 11.02 to $ 11.77 per day. The weakest BTC mining machine is the Bitmain Antminer T9 (11.5 TH / s), which can raise around $ 0.39 a day.
The Bitmain Antminer S9 also generates a profit and produces between $ 0.84 and $ 2.00 per day, depending on the S9 model. There have been no new launches recently, with the exception of a new mining equipment manufacturer from Singapore called Ipollo.
ASIC Ipollo called B2 produces 110 TH / s and needs 3250 watts to operate. The current profit is $ 34.31 per day, but the machine came this month. This means that the new company’s facilities have not been out for so long, so there are very few reviews so far.
F2pool controls the most hashrate with 26.59 EH/s or 18.69% of the network. F2pool is followed by Antpool (20.94 EH/s), Poolin (20.94 EH/s), Foundry USA (17.28 EH/s) and Viabtc (14.96 EH/s). Unknown miners control 2.10% of the world’s hashrate and 2.99 EH / s puts them in ninth position.
The current difficulty of mining is 19.89 trillion and is expected to increase by 1.58% in eight days. This increase will bring the difficulty of BTC mining back to 20 trillion, so that BTC mining will be almost 40% more difficult than three months ago.
