Along with the new applications, the company also announced the “Adobe Metaverse White Paper”, which mentions that the metaverse experience is a rich interactive experience.
The company also highlighted that the metaverse needs to be a shared, collaborative and co-authored experience. Thus, it must include a fully functioning sharing economy that fosters the next wave of innovation.
According to Adobe, its releases focus more on users, immersive business and digital reality.
“We’ve been preparing for a long time as we guide companies in their transformation to new ways of doing business,” said Adobe Vice President Stefano Corrazza.
Adobe said the keys to creating virtual scenes are: efficient 3D and immersive content development; online e-commerce support (browsing, purchasing); and 3D asset versatility (compatible with a large number of existing assets).
As Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen highlighted, the company sees the metaverse and other immersive experiences as a new wave of digital interaction, to make the digital economy easier to access, the digital economy more personalized, and accelerate the digital transformation of companies.
