BTC at the Indy 500: “the currency of hope”

BTC raced in the Indianapolis 500 yesterday. The Indy 500 is one of the most popular automobile races in the United States. In the competition held yesterday, Ed Carpenter Racing raced a car fully branded with BTC.
The race went very well, as driver Rinus Veekay finished in eighth place.
The race and the BTC-branded car were celebrated with a Twitter post from Ed Carpenter:
“Today, we make history. Today, ECR Indy is proud to race for human freedom, financial inclusivity, savings technology, and BTC open-source development.
BTC is the hardest money mankind has ever conceived.
There is nothing more I’d rather suit up for”.
In the message, Ed Carpenter continues:
“For the first time in my career, one of my cars isn’t funded by a corporation, but rather by the people. By you.
This race is bigger than racing.
For the first time, the Indy 500 is about a community of individuals and all we’re trying to accomplish in building #BTC.

The tweet thread closes with a thank you to the team and the developers, to all those who are fighting for a better world.
BTC at the Indy 500
Ed Carpenter is a proud supporter of BTC, so much so that his Twitter profile picture shows laser eyes, an unmistakable message confirming his belief that sooner or later BTC will reach $100,000.
The decision to have Rinus Veekay race in the Second 500-Mile Race in a BTC-branded car confirms the link between sport and the world of cryptocurrencies, which is most evident in the United States, for example in the NFL.
But more importantly, it was a sign that BTC’s popularity is growing and reaching the masses.
