Cryptheory reported Dogecoin’s (DOGE) rival Shiba Inu (SHIB) has announced its arrival in the metaverse, with the sale of real estate in the virtual world.
Now it’s time for another memecoin, Floki Inu (FLOKI), to do the same, but with the launch of the play-to-earn (P2E) game Valhalla.
Here is some exciting Battle Arena sneak peak from $FLOKI's upcoming #NFT #Metaverse game, #Valhalla.

Floki Inu launches Valhalla Battle Arena
As the team points out in a Medium post, Floki Inu first announced his move to the metaverse back in 2021. Now, it looks set to launch Valhalla’s first playable alpha testnet this month.
In the post, Jackie Xu, lead developer of Floki, highlighted:
“The Valhalla team has done a great job laying the groundwork for traditional gameplay to properly enter the blockchain space. Valhalla won’t just be another disjointed play-to-win game – we’re ready to see what GameFi can really do!”
Also according to the publication, the game is configured to feature upgradeable non-fungible tokens (NFTs), including some that have already been released, the Flokitars.
Additionally, the game will include a prototype battle system involving two playable creatures called Vera, one being a bear and the other a hat.
About the game Valhalla
The game’s creatures will be able to move around the battlefield to make the game more “intense, competitive and tactical”. They will have up to five skills accessible through a leveling system.
At the same time, they will have personalities that “affect the hidden growth stats”. As provided for in the team, after launch there will be a “clan subscription system”, leaderboards, additional skills, additional creatures, and more.
Game and Floki Inu enthusiasts will be able to play the game through their desktop devices.
The game itself will be on the Optimism platform, a tier two solution. The team noted that “the details and features described are subject to change.” That’s because “game development is a fluid process.”
“We are excited to show Floki’s first move in Valhalla. The Battle Arena itself will be a lot of fun. It will involve strategy beyond simply clicking on the highest damage attacks. You will need to think about your opponent’s move before you act. Our ultimate vision is to create a P2E ecosystem that is fun for some and very rewarding for others. This launch of Alpha Battle Arena brings us closer to that reality,” concluded Mr.Brown Whale, Project Valhalla leader.
