MLB and Sorare announce new fantasy game
Major League Baseball has partnered with platform NFT Sorare to launch its game online. As announced, the fantasy game will create an opportunity for fans to buy and sell NFTs from their favorite players on the Ethereum network.
Players will be featured in different rarities like in the football game. The more popular a player is in real life, or the rarer their card, the more expensive it will be.
In recent months, the sports industry is opting for NFTs as a suitable option to interact with its audience, through games, events and products, both digital and physical.

Emirates exploring the metaverse
Emirates has announced plans to add BTC as a payment option for customers and to launch NFTs, which will be traded on the company’s website.
The company says it aims to step into the metaverse and ensure the airline is “aligned with the vision of the UAE’s digital economy.”
Adel Ahmed Al-Redha, COO of the airline, did not say when the new resources would be available, but did reveal plans to recruit new staff, responsible for implementing and managing blockchain-related processes.
Also, according to Al-Redha, the metaverse can transform processes such as training, operations and sales into more interactive activities.

Spotify is testing a new feature, which allows artists to promote their NFTs on their profiles on the platform.
Spotify will be testing its first NFTs for select Android users in the US, and the tool will be available to a small group of artists, including Steve Aoki and The Wombats.
Users taking part in the test can view a select number of NFTs via an artist profile page. Users will then be able to learn more about a specific NFT and choose to purchase it through an external marketplace.
