A Los Angeles-based pop artist, Queen George, announced her first digital concert made exclusively for her NFT holders. This concert will debut on Saturday, April 17.
This release is the first time that tickets to a live concert are an NFT. Queen George’s debut NFT concert aims to put the spotlight on musical artists and graphic designers. The NFT movement has seen exponential growth in demand in 2021.
Additionally, the concert will only be available to folks who purchase “Her Majesty’s” NFT. The tickets will go on sale on April 5, 2021, at 5 PM PT at George’s official website. Her concert will include new songs and iconic covers with a new experience in terms of music production.
Queen George’s NFT To Reach Masses
Usually, NFT sales are now running into millions of dollars. They are clearly not accessible to the average fan or even investor. Queen George’s NFT will be affordable. She said, “I want to make my NFTs affordable for the sake of allowing the mass audience to enjoy the music and be included in this new digital age.”
Queen George is a part of the music industry for a while now. She has gone from being in American Idol to recording tracks with legendary musicians like bassist Nathan East, guitarist Omer Fedi, RnB producer Jonah Christian.
While this artist taps into the NFT community, she has a message for the entire music industry: “own your shit.” She further said, “I want people to know that they can build their own monarchies, their own Queendoms, and have full control over their choices and the systems they get involved with, all thanks to the power of Web3.”
This concert is launched in collaboration with the design agency, That’s Nice. The agency is led by independent designer Lee Zlicha, responsible for the visual experience and capturing Queen George’s essence in her limited digital collectibles.
NFTs March On
Also, the latest celebrity to get in on the NFT Mania is Tesla CEO Elon Musk. He announced a song about NFTs in his tweet, which would sell as a collectible token. It has attracted a bid of over $1 million so far.
As a result, on the same day, Google searches for the word ‘NFT’ surpassed even ‘Cryptocurrency’ and ‘Blockchain,’ reaching its all-time high. In conclusion, all signs point towards a glorious bull run for the new market.
