Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg will soon be debuting his very first NFT (non-fungible token) collection “A Journey with the Dogg” on Crypto.com/NFT.

The collection is a chronicle of Snoop Dogg’s early memories with art that is inspired by the NFT movement including an original track titled “NFT”.

A total of eight pieces will be up for grabs for 24 hours starting from Friday, April 2 at 4pm PT. These will be in limited quantities with one piece being auctioned. An open edition piece “Snoop Dogge Coins” will only be available for one hour.

Snoop Dogg has this to say:

“I’ve seen the game change over the years from analog to digital and I’m always happier when the technology lets the fans get to connect with the artists. NFT’s are an amazing innovation and it is an honor to do my first drop with Crypto.com/NFT.”

Collectors or fans can obtain, trade and resell the NFTs via the platform using a debit or credit card. Fans can also opt to use Crypto Pay, which enables them to pay with over 20 cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, and Dogecoin.

A percentage of the proceeds goes to the up-and-coming, young artists in the crypto realm, as well as Snoop’s Youth Football League.

The Global Head of NFTs for Crypto.com, Joe Conyers III said:

“We’re thrilled to have worked with Snoop Dogg on his first NFT drop. He’s been a cultural icon and a trend setting artist throughout his career. His upcoming drop will be no different. I can’t wait to see the reaction from Crypto.com’s 10+ Million global user base.”
