Steve Aoki Secured Funding For The Pilot of Experimental NFT TV Show

World renowned DJ Steve Aoki’s NFT (non-fungible token) TV show ‘Dominion X” is a huge hit. The stop-motion short project had experienced a near-instant sellout during early August.

Aoki has managed to secure financing for a pilot episode of the show, which is a collaborative work with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios — the Seth Green production company behind the wildly popular Robot Chicken.

In just 30 seconds, Dominion X sold 500 NFTs. Aoki’s publicist, Mike Jones, said:

“The enthusiasm around the initial sale gave us the confidence to secure financing for a proper pilot.”

While the funding of the pilot episode was a success, the battle has only just begun. Only time will tell if a distributor such as Fox and Netflix would buy the rights. Nevertheless, this is a promising start for the NFT show.
