UEFA is the newest entity to join the fan engagement-focused blockchain platform Socios.com for the launch of Fan Tokens.
According to a statement from UEFA, the organizations have signed a Global Licensing and Regional Sponsorship agreement. Thus, Socios.com will be able to launch fan tokens for the UEFA Champions League; UEFA Europa League; UEFA Europa Conference League and UEFA Super Cup.
In addition, Socios.com will sponsor the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup for the 2021-2024 cycle in the United States.
As UEFA highlighted, through the partnership, Socios.com will benefit in a number of ways. This includes brand exposure on virtual boards, sponsorship billboards and US digital sponsorship rights.

Also according to the statement, Fan Token holders will receive various rewards, such as VIP travel to UEFA Events, the opportunity to visit UEFA headquarters, virtual encounters with UEFA legends, match tickets, merchandising and souvenirs.
