Some play-to-earn games are making waves this March with an increase in on-chain activity, according to platform Dapp Radar. While some games are making exciting announcements, others are releasing NFTs or other developments.
Check out some of the featured P2E games below:
Crazy Defense Heroes
Crazy Defense Heroes is a tower defense mobile game that combines free play with P2E. According to Dapp Radar, the Crazy Defense Heroes game has seen a huge increase in on-chain activity over the past week.
This was because of the Daily Star Chest event, which saw the platform experience a 300% increase in active connected wallets to over 147,000.
The event offers players the opportunity to earn rewards in TOWER tokens, the native currency of various games in the Animoca Brands portfolio. However, players can now also earn Tower Map NFTs from Crazy Defense game.
Another popular game is Farsite, a game set in a post-apocalyptic world, where the Earth, “dry and exhausted”, forces players to explore other galaxies.
The game will launch a new marketplace on March 10th. For this reason, Dapp Radar claims that the DeFi-powered budget-strategy MMO is worth keeping an eye on.
“Price fluctuations and opportunities often present themselves during a major upgrade,” the platform said.
Until now, players purchased in-game items from Farsite itself. But with the market launch, sales will happen peer-to-peer, opening up a host of new ways for players to acquire the resources they need.
Phantom Galaxies is also featured. That’s because episode 2 of the game is now available.
Phantom Galaxies is a game set in space and built on the Polygon blockchain. The game combines open-world space simulation with fast-paced mechanical shooter. In the game, players can roam freely or participate in stories.
In this context, the factions of “Neoterra” share an alien enemy, the Sha’Karie and their Sha’Kari Zealot priests who want to destroy humanity.
Finally, Dapp Radar mentioned the P2E game Riot Racers that will officially arrive in March.
According to Dapp Radar, with the finalization of the beta version and the introduction of player-created tournaments and races, this is a great opportunity to earn in-game resources.
In the game, it is possible to earn passive income by owning gas stations, auto repair shops or parts of a race track.
“Now is the perfect time to get involved in this truly community-based platform,” added Dapp Radar.
