Buying cryptocurrencies through Apple Pay? No problem on the Coinbase exchange!

Coinbase is thinking of its users again

The announcement came on Thursday, August 5th. In addition to introducing purchases through Apple Pay the exchange plans to launch a project for the competing platform Google Pay in the coming months.

“Today, we’re introducing new and hassle-free ways to buy cryptocurrencies with linked debit cards on Apple Pay and Google Pay. Immediate payouts of up to $ 100,000 per transaction are also available. Selections are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you already have your VISA MasterCard debit card connected to the Apple Wallet, Apple Pay will automatically appear as a payment method when you buy cryptocurrencies. ”

Google Pay is coming in the fall

The Coinbase Exchange is not the first platform to take action. In front of it, identical payment methods were launched by the Gemini exchange. Among other things, Coinbase has published another important announcement concerning the immediate payment of payments in real time – so-called Real-Time Payments. U.S. customers who have bank accounts linked to the exchange they can immediately and securely withdraw up to $ 100,000 per transaction.

The company entered the market under the COIN ticker symbol in early 2021 and has significantly developed its business over the years, striving to comply with regulatory agencies.

The new bill in the US, which is currently in the process of being approved, includes changes in the taxation of cryptocurrencies in the country. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has expressed concern about the situation, calling the bill utter nonsense.
