Dogecoin (DOGE) has been in the top 10 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization for years and is now an integral part of the crypto universe, and FLOKI apparently wants to take a similar path. The former meme coin is now getting serious and is now convincing with a new advertising campaign in Times Square.

Anyone in the crypto bubble knows them all, of course: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Pepe, Solana, Floki and many more. However, if you mention cryptocurrencies in an environment where you don’t know much about them, you’ll soon stop at Bitcoin. For many, the crypto market only consists of Bitcoin. If the developers of FLOKI have their way, that will soon change. A new roadmap was published a few months ago with the clear goal of making FLOKI the best-known and most-used cryptocurrency ever.
With almost 600,000 followers on X, FLOKI is definitely one of the better-known cryptocurrencies. After all, it is also the sixth largest meme coin by market capitalization, which has now reached a valuation of over 2.2 billion dollars. Now a new advertising campaign is intended to further increase awareness.
FLOKI in Times Square
The Floki logo has been visible on an area of 150 square meters in Times Square since March 15th. This was not the only marketing measure that was taken to make the former meme coin better known. FLOKI has also appeared as a sponsor at numerous major international sporting events. Now the advertising campaign in Times Square is set to enter the next round.
It is questionable whether they will actually succeed in making people think of Floki rather than Bitcoin when they hear the word “cryptocurrencies”. What is certain is that the developers are determined to make FLOKI a major player in the crypto market. This could also give FLOKI enormous profit potential, even though the valuation of over $2 billion is already quite high.
