Gods Unchained announces release of new NFT card pack

Although it’s only been seven months since the release of its latest expansion called Divine Order, the Gods Unchained metaverse is gearing up to release a new set of cards called Mortal Judgment.

According to the game’s development team, Mortal Judgment features over 190 new cards, three new abilities, and a new Mythic 1/1 card.
Mortal Judgment is the last major set in the Champions Rise series, according to the team. The new set is approximately the same size as the Divine Order. However, this time, the mythical card is Omox
Also according to the announcement, at the beginning of the game, Omox places himself at the top of both players’ decks. So when played, Omox destroys your hand, replacing it with nine random mana creatures and setting the mana cost of each to 1.
Also, the biggest addition to this set are three new abilities: Echo, Empower, and Tempt Fate.
Echo creates a 1 mana, 1/1 copy of itself in your hand when played. This should be a powerful addition to zoo decks and any decks that rely on summoning a lot of creatures.
Empower, on the other hand, allows the player to spend extra mana to activate a special ability. This is interesting because it allows the card to be played like a normal creature for a lower mana cost.
Meanwhile, Tempt Fate provides another RNG element and can allow the player to select an effect from a list of random results and use it on players.
Gods Unchained is a free to play collectible card game. It was built on the ETH blockchain.
The game uses the Immutable X solution for trading its tokens and assets. The blockchain stores all ownership of the cards, giving players full ownership over their own set of cards.
Players earn ‘Core’ digital cards by playing the game. When a player has two identical Core cards, they can turn this card into a blockchain card and that card is then tradable on the Immutable X market.
