Amazon Prime Day 2021: When it is happening, and the best deals explained

One of the best weekend of bargains is around the corner offering millions of savings in one place.

Amazon Prime Day will offer 48 hours of deals on some of the most coveted items to Prime members across 20 countries.

From 12:01am on Monday 21 June, two million deals will be available to shoppers – the largest number in the event’s seven-year history. 

As well as Prime Day deals, customers will also be able to shop the lightning deals from 8am on the same day, which will continually refresh over the two days.

What are the best Amazon Prime Day deals available?

Amazon has promised there will be “something for everyone” across a range of interests – including home, beauty, tech, fashion and pets.

Some of the best deals include:

  • Amazon Devices: More than 50 per cent off on popular smart speaker Echo Dot, and £50 off Fire TV devices including the tablet, TV stick and cube.
  • Amazon Music: New Prime members can get four months of the premium subscription service free, with unlimited access to more than 75 million songs ad-free and millions of podcast episodes.
  • Prime Video: Prime members can get up to 50 per cent off movies and TV shows to rent or buy through Prime Video.
  • Kitchen: Up to 30 per cent off on selected floorcare brands including Shark, Vax and Hoover as well as a broad range of kitchen appliances from Ninja, Tefal, Tower, Panasonic and more.
  • Home: Up to 30 per cent off on a selection of cookware and bakeware, up to 30 per cent on Silentnight and Slumberdown duvets, pillows and toppers, up to 30 per cent on Brabantia, Vileda, Philips, Willow Tree, Yankee Candle, Swarovski and more.
  • Beauty: Up to 30 per cent off on premium beauty products from Elemis, Elizabeth Arden and This Works, up to 60 per cent off on fragrances for men and women from Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss and Jimmy Choo and up to 50 per cent off on makeup from L’Oreal Paris, Rimmel, Maybelline, Real Techniques and more.
  • Sports: Up to 30 per cent off on an extensive variety of sporting goods including Fitbit activity trackers, camping products and exercise and fitness equipment.
  • Consumer Electronics: Up to 30 per cent off on headphones and speakers, and up to 35 per cent off on smartphones and wearables from Samsung, Garmin, Xiaomi and more. Save on Samsung, Huawei, ASUS and many other laptops. 
  • Major Appliances: Up to 30per cent off on large appliances from brands including Samsung, Bosch, and AEG.
