Bitstamp is the first digital currency exchange platform to be fully licensed in Europe. The exchange is authorized and licensed by the Luxembourg Financial Industry Supervisory Commission (CSSF). This regulatory oversight gives users added protection when trading on the Bitstamp exchange.

  1. Interface: The Bitstamp platform is generally well built and relatively user friendly. The platform contains all the major data on prices and orders, providing constantly updated charts and balances for effective trading
  2. Security: Bitstamp is one of the safest crypto exchange platforms for buying and selling digital assets. The company provides its clients with secure wallet options.
  3. Customer Support: Bitstamp offers phone and email support for clients. Bitstamp also offers an FAQ page that contains comprehensive and thorough responses that have been explained carefully and in detail.
  4.  International Availability: Apart from being widely available across the EU and the US, the exchange is currently available to over 60 countries. These include Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea.

Bitstamp’s flat trading fee is 0.50%. These trading fees are double the industry average, which is generally around 0.25%. However, Bitstamp offers trading fee discounts when you have a large trading volume during the preceding 30 days.

Bitstamp charges 0.0005 BTC for withdrawing BTC. The deposit methods include both wire transfer and credit cards.

How to register on Bitstamp?

  1. Step 1:

    Navigate to the Official Website and then click “Register”option on the homepage

  2. Step 2:

    Enter your name, email address, and country of residence.

  3. Step 3:

    Tick the terms and conditions box and then click ‘Register’.

    Now you will receive a “registration complete” email at the address you entered. Here you will also be provided with your unique client Id and password.

    Then click on the Verification Option to complete the verification process

  6. Step 6:

    Now navigate to the Security option on the left-side panel and select Two-Factor Authentication.

How to recover the Bitstamp password?

On the login page, type in your registered email id and click on the “Forgot Password” option. Once you confirm that you wish to reset your password, you will receive an email with a link. Click on the link and you should be able to set a new password.

How to deposit on Bitstamp?

  1. Step 1:

    Navigate to the Deposit page through the top navigation screen

  3. Step 3:
