On Apr. 3, a free database that contains 533 million Facebook records got leaked on a popular hacking forum. It includes email addresses, phone numbers, and other sensitive information.
How to check if you have been exposed to a data leak?
You should check that you are included in the recently published database using “haveibeenpwned.com.” Just enter the email address you use in your Facebook account and click on “pwned?”. If you get a positive result, the following data are probably published: user ID, telephone number, email address, name, gender, date of birth, current and previous place of residence, relationship status, employer.
