Dogecoin Founder Calls Binance Smart Chain Tokens “Junk”

2 min read

Dogecoin (DOGE) memecoin co-founder Billy Markus, known on social media as “Shibetoshi Nakamoto”, has again criticized the cryptocurrency market.

This time, he extended his criticism to all the projects built in the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Through his Twitter account, Markus called all BSC tokens “junk”.

Markus hinted that BSC does not meet decentralized status. Furthermore, he said the network shouldn’t even exist.

The computer scientist also noted that the accounts promoting the BSC are fraudulent bots. Meanwhile, he called the individuals promoting the BSC “scoundrels or idiots”.

Dogecoin (DOGE)

Previously, the co-founder lashed out at crypto investors for not having enough knowledge about the industry. He said that it makes people invest money in different projects without any foundation.

According to Markus, 70% of cryptocurrency investors do not understand market fundamentals and know nothing.

By the end of May, he had projected that at least 99% of cryptocurrencies would fall in value and return to zero.

“99.9% will definitely go down to 0, but majors usually go down only 90% or more,” Markus said.

Also according to him, there are about 500 “shitty” tokens made daily on all blockchains.

Finally, on Terra (LUNA), Markus said he believes that everything is just a scheme to deceive more people. According to him, Do Kwon is a crook and LUNA 2.0 is good for nothing more than being a new scam.

After creating Dogecoin, which is a “criticism” of the logic of the cryptocurrency market, Markus stated that he does not invest in the sector. When he criticized the cryptocurrency market in March, Markus also snarled at the social network’s “haters”.

“Also note that the only people who will react and attack these tweets are the scammers and idiots,” he said.
