How to Enter the Dolce & Gabbana Future Rewind Contest ost Preview

To help celebrate the 2023 Metaverse Fashion week, the famous fashion design company, Dolce & Gabbana, is hosting a digital fashion design contest! Anyone (ages 18+) who has a talent for both fashion design and digital artwork is encouraged to submit their designs. All designs will be judged by Mr. Dolce, Mr. Gabbana, and other Dolce & Gabbana Family Holders.

Design Requirements

To qualify for the design contest, each contestant must submit at least five designs but can submit up to twenty. All designs must be submitted at once (saved in a portfolio).
All designs must also include one or more of Dolce & Gabbana’s most iconic fashion styles. Designs that do not have one of the following patterns or styles may not qualify to win.
•        Leopard Print
•        Zebra Stripes
•        Venice Carretto
•        Blue Mediterranean
•        Black Lace
•        Dolce & Gabbana Logo
Most of these styles are self-explanatory, but those who are unfamiliar with Dolce & Gabbana’s designs may not know about the Venice Carretto or Blue Meditteranean styles. Designers can find examples of the Venice Carretto designs here or browse current Dolce & Gabbana Blue Meditteranean designs on their website.

File Format and Submission

When submitting the designer will need to give a few key pieces of information. Each application, along with fashion designs, must include the designer’s first and last name and email. Contestants can also include links to their social media pages and personal website, but this is not required for entry.
The fashion designs can be made in any format. However, since the designs are being created for the Metaverse, which is in 3D, it is likely that 3D digital designs will gain the most traction with the judges.
No matter what file format the designs are in, they all need to be added to a digital portfolio. Any digital portfolio that can be linked will work. Contestants will put the link to the portfolio in the application. Contestants should make sure the link is visible to others so their designs can be seen by the judges.

Deadline

All contest submissions must be turned in by March 12, 2023. After this date, the judges will look over all of the designs. The winners will be announced at the Metaverse Fashion Week, which will take place from March 23-31, 2023.
When the contest is completed, Dolce & Gabbana will select 15-20 winning pieces. Dolce & Gabbana may select one or more designs per winning designer. The winning styles will be based on skill and overall fashionable design.

Prize

Winners will have their fashion designs put into production by Dolce & Gabbana. The designer’s name will be attributed to the design whenever possible. Winners will also earn royalties for sales made from their designs.
