Weiss Ratings have placed Ethereum ahead of Bitcoins as the top cryptocurrency and Cardano has the best technology
1 min readWhat replaced Bitcoin as a top cryptocurrency? The credit rating agency has updated its overall rating of cryptocurrencies to take into account acceptance, technology, market dynamics and investment risk.
Weiss now ranks Ethereum (ETH) first, followed by Bitcoins (BTC), Cardano (ADA), Litecoin (LTC) and Stellar (XLM).

In addition, the agency ranked Cardano first as a coin with the best technology. Thanks to the success of Shelley’s hard fort. Weiss also considers Cosmos (ATOM), Phantom (FTM), Tezos (XTZ) and Ethereum to be the best coins in terms of technology.
As for the state of the crypto market, Juan Villaverde says that investors continue to focus on large-cap coins.

We usually see the smaller altcoins outperform the broad crypto market once the rally enters its later stages.
