The Chia Network blockchain platform, created by BitTorrent founder Bram Cohen, has launched a peer-to-peer (P2P) trading service called Offers for Chia Wallet holders.
P2P trading on Chia Network
The P2P trading service allows Chia Wallet users to participate in crypto trading without having to submit their assets to the exchange. The company stated that the service does not charge fees from both users for secure transaction processing.
President and COO of Chia Gene Hoffman said that in order to create simpler and more secure P2P transactions, Chia was tested for critical security requirements:
The launch of the offer is the first step in meeting these goals, and our partnership with Stably to provide stable USD coins and tokenized wrapped versions from other blockchains is an integral part of this process.
Stably will be the first to introduce USDS, dollar stablecoin, Wrapped ETH (wETH) and Wrapped BTC (wBTC) on Chia’ blockchain. As part of its mission to reduce the energy dependency of the public blockchain network, Chia Network received $ 61 million in the D-Series financial round last year.
