Equity strategists and portfolio managers were asked what the price would be BTC until the end of the year. Nearly half of respondents say the price of cryptocurrencies will fall below $ 30,000, but some believe it will rise to $ 60,000.

Each quarter, CNBC publishes the views of about 100 senior investment directors, capital strategists and portfolio managers on the markets for the rest of the year. The last survey was conducted from June 23 to 30.

According to a survey published last week, 44% of respondents said the price of BTC would be below $ 30,000 by the end of the year.

In addition, 25% of equity strategists and portfolio managers said it would be $ 40,000 and another 25% said it would reach $ 50,000. Only 6% expected the price of BTC to reach $ 60,000 by the end of the year.

Several recent surveys suggest a growing popularity of cryptocurrency investments among institutional investors. A survey of investment trends in 2021 by the Journal of Financial Planning and the Financial Planning Association (FPA) found that more than 26% of financial advisers plan to recommend cryptocurrencies in the next 12 months. Meanwhile, 49% of advisers said that clients had asked them about investments in cryptocurrencies in the last six months, and 14% of advisers already recommend investments in cryptocurrencies.
