Floki Inu: partnership with the Italian football club Napoli

The football club was founded in 1926 and is one of the most popular professional teams in Italy. The iconic club played its first Serie A title in 1987 under the leadership of the now defunct football legend Diego Maradona and is currently ranked No. 1 in the league for the 2021-2022 season.

The football club has announced that the Floki Inu logo, which represents the Shiba Inu dog with a Viking helmet, will be displayed on club jerseys and LED signs at the team’s home stadium until the end of the current season.

“We see how companies and the project interact with sports wherever they can – from the NBA to the European Football League and cryptocurrencies have gained wider acceptance. Leagues like Serie A and La Liga are much more lenient with sponsorship than the NFL.

The Floki team from has expanded list of partner football clubs that already includes Kerala Blasters from the Indian Super League and Cadiz from the Spanish LaLiga. Floki seems to be following the same path as the Exchange FTX, which also actively collaborated with popular teams in 2021.

Napoli did not disclose the length of the sponsorship agreement and the amount of money Floki invested in the partnership. Floki’s marketing department said the move was part of the project’s aspirations to become “the most well-known and widely used drugstore in the world.”
