Bored Brothers: Kygo & Ryan Tedder
Artists KYGO and Ryan Tedder, lead singer of the band One Republic, have teamed up to create the Bored Brothers, a band with animated characters, based on the musicians’ Bored Apes. According to the artists, the project originated from a desire to create music outside of their respective genres.
The duo’s first NFT song “DRIP” was released on the Sound.xyz platform on Friday (4/22). The main single is made up of 300 NFTs, each priced at 0.1 ETH, which Bored Apes owners had early access to with the pre-sale.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is the world’s largest collection of digital collectibles, with a current floor price of $300,000. The NFT collection features Madonna, Mark Cuban, Steve Aoki, Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton, among many other artists, entrepreneurs and influencers such as the owners of Bored Apes.
