Popular British rock band Muse have announced that their upcoming music album “Will of the People” will be traded through an NFT.
The release of the new album will take place on August 26, on the Serenade platform.
Each NFT will cost approximately $25 and there will be a limit of 1,000 global copies, which will allow fans to receive a downloadable version of the disc with high definition tracks signed by the band members.
Muse and its history in music
The rock band Muse was created in 2014 and has received several awards around the world, including:
- Three NME for best British band in 2007, 2010 and 2011.
- An MT Europe Music for the best performance on the world stage in 2019.
- Two Grammys for best rock album in 2011 and 2016.
Muse had already collaborated in 2020 with Dapper Lab’s CryptoKitties project, for the creation of digital collectibles.
However, it is the first time the band has worked on creating and marketing their own NFT works.
Serenade and the world of NFTs
Serenade is a platform that uses the Polygon network to create, buy and sell NFTs, as well as offering solutions and facilities for users who want to start experiencing the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
The platform allows payments via debit and credit cards to purchase NFTs on the site, as well as the use of BTC or ETH wallets linked to Coinbase.
In addition, Serenade automatically creates a digital wallet for all users using the Web3 infrastructure authentication solution.
For this reason, the choice of the band Muse for the creation and release of its NFT album, will allow that all those interested in obtaining one of the digital assets, have a pleasant experience in the introduction of this type of technology.
